"How to dissemble and assemble the top for cleaning"

Special Cleaning of the JOEmo Mug Top

To Clean Top:

1. Remove the drink top and place in your hand and push the button to the open valve position.

2. Push the very bottom of the drink valve with the palm of your hand upward; the push plate on the top will disengage with a snap.

3. Hand cleaning of all top components can now be done in soapy warm water.

CAUTION: the button my represent a choking hazard

4. To re-assemble, place the button in the top plate and hold with plate upside down so the button does not fall out.

5. Turn the drink top upside down also and locate and place the button/plate assembly in the top while it’s upside down.

6. Turn it all back over.

7. If the plate and button are now generally flat at the same level, push down on the sides of the push plate firmly with both thumbs. The assembly should snap together but if it does not, rotate plate assembly upside down and try again. If the button is much lower than the top plate, do not try to assemble, turn over and rotate & retry again. Test by pushing the button, if OK you are done,

If not, repeat starting at step #5.

After you do this a few times it is very easy!
